Today, Governor Rick Scott announced the appointment of Charles P. Sniffen to the Manatee County Court.

Sniffen, 39, of Bradenton, has practiced with Harrison, Kirkland, Pratt & McGuire, P.A. since 2011. Previously, Sniffen was a sole practitioner from 2007-2011. From 2005-2007, he practiced with Harlee & Bald, P.A. From 1999-2005, Sniffen served as an Assistant State Attorney in the Office of the State Attorney. From 1997-1999, he practiced with Ferdie & Gouz, P.A. Sniffen will fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Judge George K. Brown.

“Charlie Sniffen has demonstrated throughout his career to be knowledgeable and fair,” said Governor Scott. “I am confident that he will be a great addition to the Manatee County bench.”
