Today, Governor Rick Scott announced five appointments and one reappointment to the Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission.

Van Toth, 53, of Miami Lakes, is the police chief of Hialeah Gardens Police Department. He fills a vacant seat and is appointed for a term beginning July 24, 2013, and ending August 1, 2014.

Steve Bolger, 43, of Coral Springs, is a sergeant with the Hollywood Police Department. He succeeds Michael McHale and is appointed for a term beginning August 2, 2013, and ending August 1, 2017.

Nicholas Marolda, Jr., 45, of Lakeland, is a police detective with the Lakeland Police Department. He fills a vacant seat and is appointed for a term beginning August 2, 2013, and ending August 1, 2017.

Benito Arzon, 51, of Orlando, is a correctional officer with the Orange County Department of Corrections. He fills a vacant seat and is appointed for a term beginning July 24, 2013, and ending August 1, 2014.

William Harriss, 62, of Saint Augustine, is the former city manager of Saint Augustine. He succeeds Ernest George and is appointed for a term beginning August 2, 2013, and ending August 1, 2017.

John Rutherford, 60, of Jacksonville, is the Sheriff of Jacksonville. He is reappointed for a term beginning August 2, 2013, and ending August 1, 2017.
