Today, Governor Rick Scott announced six appointments to two Judicial Nominating Commissions.

Second District Court of Appeal Judicial Nominating Commission

Laird A. Lile, 54, of Naples, is a sole practitioner practicing wills, trust, and estate law. He succeeds James Humphrey, Jr. and is appointed for a term beginning August 29, 2014, and ending July 1, 2018.

Kristie Hatcher-Bolin, 40, of Winter Haven, is an attorney with GrayRobinson PA. She succeeds Theodore Eastmoore and is appointed from a list of nominees submitted by the Florida Bar for a term beginning August 29, 2014, and ending July 1, 2018.

Robert Biasotti, 62, of St. Petersburg, is an attorney with Biasotti and Associates. He succeeds Mitchell Franks and is appointed from a list of nominees submitted by the Florida Bar for a term beginning August 29, 2014, and ending July 1, 2018.

Fifteenth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission

 Jeffrey Kuntz, 33, of Boca Raton, is an attorney with GrayRobinson PA. He is reappointed for a term beginning August 29, 2014, and ending July 1, 2018.

F. Malcolm Cunningham Jr., 57, of West Palm Beach, is an attorney with The Cunningham Law Firm PA. He succeeds Mariano Garcia and is appointed from a list of nominees submitted by the Florida Bar for a term beginning August 29, 2014, and ending July 1, 2018.

William Shepherd, 45, of Palm Beach Gardens, is a partner with Holland and Knight LLP. He succeeds James McCann, Jr. and is appointed from a list of nominees submitted by the Florida Bar for a term beginning August 29, 2014, and ending July 1, 2018.
