ORLANDO, Fla. – Today, Governor Rick Scott recognized the Boston Red Sox for collecting $12,189 in donations for the Florida Disaster Fund through last night’s 50/50 raffle conducted at Fenway Park.

Governor Scott said, “Last night, thousands of individuals at Fenway Park paused to recognize the victims and survivors of Sunday’s horrendous attack, and raised more than $12,000 in donations for the Florida Disaster Fund. Every dollar given will go to the organizations that serve survivors, their families, and all those in need. We appreciate the Boston Red Sox for leading this incredible donation effort and want all of Boston to know that we are extremely grateful and humbled by this outpouring of support.”
