TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Today, Governor Rick Scott announced two appointments and three reappointments to the Florida Commission on Human Relations.

Latanya Peterson, 37, of Fleming Island, is a regional consultant for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. She fills a vacant seat and is appointed for a term beginning March 10, 2017, and ending September 30, 2018.

Dianne Goldenberg, 60, of Lake Worth, is the chief executive officer of Aventura Hospital and Medical Center. She fills a vacant seat and is appointed for a term beginning March 10, 2017, and ending September 30, 2019.

Gilbert Singer, 61, of Tampa, is an attorney and partner for Marcadis Singer, P.A. He is reappointed for a term beginning March 10, 2017, and ending September 30, 2018.

Rebecca Steele, 64, of Jacksonville, is the former chief human resources officer for Acosta. She is reappointed for a term beginning March 10, 2017, and ending September 30, 2019.

Tony Jenkins, 59, of Orlando, is the market president for Florida Blue. He is reappointed for a term beginning March 10, 2017, and ending September 30, 2018.

The appointments are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
