Florida Youth Substance Abuse Survey (FYSAS) – 2007 Survey Results
The Florida Youth Substance Abuse Survey (FYSAS) is annual assessment administered to Florida’s middle and high school public school students. The survey, which has been administered since 2000, provides valuable information on the substance abuse trends in Florida, and helps direct prevention efforts. The results of the 2007 survey were released on April 17, 2008 by Lt. Governor Jeff Kottkamp and Office of Drug Control Director Bill Janes. The 2007 FYSAS shows continued declines in alcohol and other drug use for Florida’s youth.
