Today, Governor Rick Scott announced eight appointments to Early Learning Coalitions across the state.

Early Learning Coalition of Florida’s Heartland

Ashley Coone, 31, of Arcadia, is the executive director of the DeSoto County Chamber of Commerce and the founder and president of Links2Success. She fills a vacant seat and is appointed as chair for a term beginning November 18, 2013, and ending April 30, 2017.

Charlotte Heston, 56, of Wauchula, is the vice president of corporate services for Peace River Electric Cooperative. She fills a vacant seat and is appointed for a term beginning November 18, 2013, and ending April 30, 2016.

Early Learning Coalition of Hillsborough County

Lisa Coulter, 49, of Tampa, is the director of Cushman & Wakefield. She fills a vacant seat and is appointed for a term beginning November 18, 2013, and ending April 30, 2016.

Early Learning Coalition of Okaloosa and Walton Counties

Elizabeth Brant, 49, of Baker, is an environmental engineer with Polyengineering, Inc. She succeeds L. Paul Sirmans and is appointed as chair for a term beginning November 18, 2013, and ending April 30, 2017.

Early Learning Coalition of Santa Rosa County

Rachel Connell, 36, of Milton, is a self employed accountant. She fills a vacant seat and is appointed for a term beginning November 18, 2013, and ending April 30, 2016.

Balenda Hetzel, 43, of Navarre, is the vice president of Beach Community Mortgage. She succeeds Jill Sport and is appointed as chair for a term beginning November 18, 2013, and ending April 30, 2017.

Martha Odom, 58, of Gulf Breeze, is the special projects coordinator for J.O. Services Group. She fills a vacant seat and is appointed for a term beginning November 18, 2013, and ending April 30, 2015.

 

Early Learning Coalition of St. Lucie County

Terissa Aronson, 44, of Port St. Lucie, is the president and chief executive officer of the St. Lucie County Chamber of Commerce. She succeeds Marilyn Lawless and is appointed for a term beginning November 18, 2013, and ending April 30, 2015.
