TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Today, Governor Rick Scott announced the appointment of Thomas James Coleman to the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit Court.

Coleman, 45, of Fort Lauderdale, has served as an Assistant State Attorney for the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit since 1998. He received his bachelor’s degree from State University of New York at Albany, and his law degree from Saint Thomas University School of Law. Coleman fills the vacancy created by the resignation of Judge Marc H. Gold.
