TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Today, Governor Rick Scott announced the appointment of two to the Florida Center for Nursing Board of Directors.

 

Dr. Marlaine Smith, of Boca Raton, is the dean of nursing for Florida Atlantic University. Dr. Smith was recommended by the Board of Governors pursuant to s. 464.0196, Florida Statutes. She fills a vacant seat and is appointed for a term beginning February 22, 2018, and ending June 30, 2019.

 

Dr. Angeline Bushy, of Daytona Beach, is a professor for the University of Central Florida College of Nursing, Daytona Campus. Dr. Bushy was recommended by the State Board of Education pursuant to s. 464.0196, Florida Statutes. She fills a vacant seat and is appointed for a term beginning February 22, 2018, and ending June 30, 2020.
