Governor Scott said, “Every child in Florida should have the opportunity to get a great education at the school of their choice so they can achieve their dreams. I am proud to sign this legislation today and I appreciate the work of House Speaker Corcoran to put the needs of our students first. Speaker Corcoran has been laser-focused on making sure that every child in Florida can get a great education and I appreciate his efforts to champion this legislation for our students. This bill, along with the efforts we have made over the past seven years to support Florida’s schools, teachers and students, will help ensure Florida’s children have the opportunities and resources they need to succeed in the classroom and beyond.”
