Tallahassee, Fla. – Today, Governor Rick Scott announced the appointment of Russell Johnson to the Nassau County School Board. He is appointed to fill a vacancy created by the resignation of Kimberly Fahlgren.

Johnson, 64, of Hilliard, is a weight inspector with the Florida Department of Transportation. He received his bachelor’s degree in political science and public administration from the University of North Florida. He is appointed to the seat previously held by School Board Member Kimberly Fahlgren, for a term beginning December 4, 2018.
