Governor Rick Scott Appoints Kim Hernandez Vance to the Hillsborough County Court

Today, Governor Rick Scott announced the appointment of Kim Hernandez Vance to the Hillsborough County Court.

Vance 53, is a Tampa native and a partner with GrayRobinson, P.A., where she has been a commercial litigator since 2005. She began her legal career in 1997 with Rahdert, Anderson, McGowen & Steele, P.A. in Tampa. Vance was a member of the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council from 2006-2013 and served on the Gulf Ridge Council Hispanic Outreach Committee from 2007-2008. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of West Florida and her law degree from Stetson University College of Law. She was formally a Certified Public Accountant from 1987 to 1995. Vance fills a vacancy created by the resignation of Judge James V. Dominguez.

Governor Rick Scott said, “With many years of legal service in Hillsborough County, I am confident Kim will continue her dedicated service to Florida families on the County bench.”
