Gov. Scott Highlights 450 Jobs at BBVA Compass

MIAMI, Fla. – Today, Governor Rick Scott highlighted the growth of BBVA Compass in Florida. The company has added 80 new jobs in Miami, Orlando and Tampa since 2012 and they currently have 450 jobs statewide. BBVA Compass currently operates 45 branches throughout Florida.

Governor Scott said, “We are proud to be the home of great companies like BBVA Compass who are expanding across the state. I met with BBVA Compass in 2012 during our trade mission to Spain to promote job creation in Florida. Economic development trips across the U.S. and the globe are very important to growing more jobs here in the Sunshine State.”

Governor Scott met with BBVA in 2012 during a trade mission to Spain to promote Spanish investment and job creation in Florida.
