Governor Rick Scott Appoints Judge Stacy Ross to the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit

Tallahassee, Fla. – Today, Governor Rick Scott announced the appointment of Judge Stacy M. Ross to the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit.

Ross, 43, of Fort Lauderdale, has been a Broward County Court Judge since 2005. Previously, she served as an Assistant State Attorney in the Seventeenth Circuit. Ross received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and her law degree from Nova Southeastern University. She fills a vacancy created by the death of Judge Susan Aramony.

Governor Rick Scott said, “Judge Ross has consistently demonstrated a keen understanding of the law during her service on the bench and as a prosecutor. I am confident that this experience and her legal skills will continue to be a great asset to Broward County as she continues her service to our state.”
