Internships

The Governor’s Internship Program provides a unique opportunity for Florida’s brightest students to gain valuable professional experience while helping make Florida the greatest state in the nation to live, work and play. This program is designed to provide both undergraduate and graduate students with a rare, hands-on experience in state government that will better prepare them for future careers. Interns will gain an understanding of the inner-workings of state government and have one-of-a-kind opportunities to interact with elected and appointed officials, government agencies and the media.

ATTENTION SPRING 2024 INTERNSHIP APPLICANTS (updated August 10, 2023)

The application, review and interview process for the Spring 2024 semester will take place beginning the week of November 27th.

To be considered for the Governor’s Internship Program, applications* must be received by the following deadlines:

Spring 2024
Deadline: November 17, 2023

Summer 2024
Deadline: April 12, 2024

 Please Note: Two letters of recommendation, one from a professor/teacher and one professional reference (not a relative) are required, as well as your official transcript. Your letters of recommendation may be submitted via e-mail to EOGinternships@eog.myflorida.com. Your official transcript must be sent directly from your academic institution in a sealed envelope to the following address:
