Tallahassee, Fla. – Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the reappointment of Eugene Lamb, Jr. to the District Board of Trustees of Tallahassee Community College.

Lamb, of Midway, is a retired teacher who taught in Leon, Gadsden and Volusia County Schools for over 30 years. He has served on the District Board of Trustees of Tallahassee Community College since 2007. Lamb has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Florida High School Athletic Association since 2014 and served as a Gadsden County Commissioner from 2004-2012. Lamb received his bachelor’s degree in Health and Physical Education from Dillard University. Lamb is reappointed for the remaining three years of a term.

The appointment is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
