Jacksonville, Fla. – Today, Governor Ron DeSantis spoke on his Bold Vision for High Quality Education at Potter’s House Christian Academy in Jacksonville. The Governor was joined by First Lady Casey DeSantis, Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry, Senator Manny Díaz, Jr., Senator Rob Bradley, Representative Jennifer Sullivan and other members of the Florida Legislature.

“Potter’s House Christian Academy exemplifies what the scholarship program is all about,” said Governor DeSantis. “More than half of the students here attend on scholarships and this new Family Empowerment Scholarship will help tens of thousands more low-income children realize their potential. It will give more parents the power to do what is best for their children.”

Potter’s House Christian Academy aims to offer an educational environment with morality and character building as its core, without compromising academic standards. PHCA currently enrolls over 450 students and offers grades K4 through 12. The school also has a 99 percent graduation rate with 75 percent of their graduates attending college and 10 percent of graduates go on to serve the in the military.
