Jerusalem, Israel – Today, Governor Ron DeSantis held a Roundtable on School Safety and Security, visited the Yad Vashem World Holocaust Remembrance Center and participated in a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony between the University of Miami and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem at the Shaare Zedek Medical Center.

Below is an overview of this morning’s events:

• Governor DeSantis and members of the Florida delegation hosted a roundtable on School Safety and Security to learn from the techniques and experience Israel has in this area to protect our communities and schools.
• Governor DeSantis and members of the Florida delegation visited the Yad Vashem World Holocaust Remembrance Center for a wreath laying ceremony.
• Governor DeSantis participated in an MOU signing ceremony between the University of Miami and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem at the Shaare Zedek Medical Center.
