Tallahassee, Fla. – Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of Cynthia Brooks to the Holmes County Hospital Corporation.

Brooks, of Bonifay, is a retired educator who taught biology for over 30 years with the Holmes County School District. Brooks has been a member of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists since 1976. She earned her bachelor’s degree in medical technology from the University of West Florida and her master’s degree in science education from Florida State University. Brooks is appointed to a four-year term.
