Tallahassee, Fla. – Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of Paetra Brownlee to the Ninth Circuit Court. The Ninth Circuit encompasses Orange and Osceola counties.

Brownlee, of Winter Park, is a partner at The Brownlee Law Firm P.A. She has previously served on the Judicial Nominating Commission for the Ninth Circuit and for the Fifth District. She received her bachelor’s degree from Emory University and her law degree from Florida State University College of Law. Brownlee fills the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Timothy Shea.
