Tallahassee, Fla. — Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointments of Tina Clary, Tiffany Howard, and Thomas Hackney to the Clay County Development Authority.

Tina Clary

Clary, of Middleburg, is the principal and chief executive officer of Clary & Associates, a land surveying and mapping company, a position she has held since 2008. She has been interpreter with Freelance Interpreting, since 2009. Clary served on the Clay County Chamber of Commerce in 2018 and is a member of the Florida Surveying and Mapping Society since 2010. Clary is appointed to a four-year term.

Tiffany Howard

Howard, of Orange Park, is a licensed realtor and real estate broker with Florida Real Estate Endeavors, a real estate firm she has operated since 2016. She previously was a broker associate with Keller Williams from 2015 until 2016. Howard has been a member of the Rotary Club of Orange Park since 2016 and has served on the Town of Orange ‘s Economic Development Committee, Land Use and Development Committee, Parks and Recreation Committee, and General Government and Policy Committee. Howard is appointed to a four-year term.

Thomas Hackney

Hackney, of Jacksonville, serves as director of personnel and professional services for the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office. Hackney has been with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office since 1991 and previously held the position of detective and chief of investigations. In 2016, he received the National Crime Victims’ Week Distinguished Service Award. He has been a member of the Fraternal Order of Policy since 1991. Hackney is appointed to a four-year term.
