Tallahassee, Fla. — Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of David Hidalgo to the Lake-Sumter State College District Board of Trustees.

Hidalgo, of Clermont, has been a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for Envision Physician Services since 2006. He is a member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetist, National Firewood Association and the South Lake Chamber of Commerce. Hidalgo earned bachelor’s degrees in psychology and nursing from McNeese State University, his master’s degree in anesthesiology from Barry University and his master of business administration from the University of Florida.

This appointment is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
