Tallahassee, Fla. — Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of Dennis Manelli to the Port Tampa Bay Governing Board.

Manelli, of Tampa, is the General Counsel at Hendry Marine Industries. Previously, he was a Partner at Phelps Dunbar. Manelli has been involved with the Port Tampa Maritime Industry Association, Propeller Club Port of Tampa and the American Victory Ship and Museum. He earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting and his juris doctor from the University of Florida.

This appointment is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
