Tallahassee, Fla. — Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of Scott Sturgill to the Seminole State College District Board of Trustees.

Sturgill, of Sanford, is Chief Executive Officer of Durable Safety Products. He is a Past Chair of the Greater Sanford Regional Chamber of Commerce and the AdventHealth Altamonte Springs board and currently serves on the Seminole County Industrial Development Authority. Sturgill earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Flagler College.

This appointment is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
