Tallahassee, Fla. — Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of Kevin Hyde to the University of North Florida Board of Trustees.

Hyde, of Jacksonville, is an attorney and Jacksonville Office Managing Partner for Foley and Lardner LLP. Previously, he served as Chief Administrative Officer for the City of Jacksonville, on the Jacksonville City Council and as Interim President of Florida State College at Jacksonville. The current Chairman of the University of North Florida Board of Trustees, Hyde earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida and his juris doctorate from the University of Florida College of Law.

This appointment is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
