TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Today, First Lady Casey DeSantis announced that Florida is partnering with the Adecco Group – a leading talent advisory and solutions company – to provide dedicated employment opportunities and careers for Hope Florida – A Pathway to Prosperity program participants. Hope Florida – A Pathway to Prosperity, spearheaded by First Lady Casey DeSantis and implemented by the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF), is now available in every county in Florida and since the launch in September has served more than 6,600 individuals.

Today’s announcement is an example of the First Lady’s commitment to look beyond government to find solutions. The communication and collaboration with the private sector, non-profit organizations and the faith-based community is essential to the success of Hope Florida – A Pathway to Prosperity. Adecco’s partnership will enhance DCF’s ability to uncover opportunities for Floridians looking to achieve economic self-sufficiency through employment.

“Connecting families with employment opportunities is an essential part of helping individuals achieve economic self-sufficiency,” said First Lady Casey DeSantis. “I’m honored to announce that through this partnership we will be able to give Florida families the ability to achieve their goals and provide for their families. I look forward to continuing the success of Hope Florida – A Pathway to Prosperity into the New Year.”

Hope Florida – A Pathway to Prosperity, launched under the leadership of First Lady Casey DeSantis, utilizes ‘Care Navigators’ to guide Floridians on an individualized path to prosperity by focusing on community collaboration between the private sector, faith-based community, nonprofits and government entities to break down traditional community silos, maximize resources and uncover opportunities.

“Hope Florida – A Pathway to Prosperity program connects with the client to identify goals and barriers on their road to economic independence,” said Department of Children and Families Secretary Shevaun Harris. “We are excited to work with the Adecco Group to ensure everyone who enters the program can have access to meaningful employment opportunities in their own communities.”

“Hope Florida’s commitment to removing barriers to prosperity is completely aligned with the Adecco Group’s mission to make the future work for everyone,” said Pete Martinez, Vice President of Talent Management at the Adecco Group, Americas. “Through this partnership, we look forward to connecting Floridians to great job opportunities and equipping individuals with the tools and skills to reach their full potential in the world of work and beyond.”

Hope Florida – A Pathway to Prosperity participants will be able to easily find and apply for Florida jobs available through the Adecco Group’s vast network. Participants will have access to a customized job search website to view available jobs and can apply through any web-enabled device. The Adecco Group will work with participants through the job search process from application to placement. After applying, customers will also have access to free career development courses to tailor skills needed to secure a brighter future.

Today’s announcement follows a roundtable hosted by First Lady Casey DeSantis last week, where she discussed how community partners and faith-based organizations can work together to support vulnerable families through Hope Florida – A Pathway to Prosperity.
