TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of Jorge Rivera and the reappointment of Edwin Stewart to the Barbers’ Board.

Jorge Rivera

Rivera, of Orlando, is the Owner and a Barber at Classic Man Cuts and is also the Owner of CMC Grooming Products. He is a member of the American Barber Association. Rivera earned his barber certification from Artistic School of Nails & Cosmetology.

Edwin Stewart

Stewart, of Pensacola, is a Barber at the Navy Exchange at Sherman Field. He previously served in the Florida Army National Guard and has been a barber for over 50 years. Stewart earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Faulkner University.

These appointments are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
