Tallahassee, Fla. — Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of Lisa Scott-Founds to the Florida Film and Entertainment Advisory Council.

Scott-Founds, of Fort Lauderdale, is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Winterfest, Inc. She is the Executive Producer of the Winterfest Boat Parade, an annual event known as “The World’s Most Watched Boat Parade” that has been named one of the 20 Best Parades in the World by the International Festival and Events Association. Scott-Founds has volunteered her time with the International Swimming Hall of Fame, Symphony of the Americas, Junior Achievement Circle of Wise Women, Leadership Florida and the Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce. She earned her bachelor’s degree in communications from Florida State University and was named Fort Lauderdale’s 2011 Citizen of the Year.
