Tallahassee, Fla. — Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of John Miklos to the University of Central Florida Board of Trustees.

Miklos, of Orlando, is President of Bio-Tech Consulting, Inc. He is a member of the Florida Association of Environmental Professionals, Society of Wetland Scientists and has previously served as Chairman of the St. Johns River Water Management District Governing Board and on the Florida Environmental Regulation Commission. Miklos earned his bachelor’s degree in limnology from the University of Central Florida.

This appointment is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
