TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of Geri Atkinson-Hazelton to the Reemployment Assistance Appeals Commission.

Atkinson-Hazelton, of Tallahassee, is the former General Counsel for the Reemployment Assistance Appeals Commission. She is a current member of the Florida Bar and received an award for excellence in public service from the Government Lawyer Section of the Florida Bar in 2007. Atkinson-Hazelton earned her bachelor’s degree and her juris doctor from Florida State University.

This appointment is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
