TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of Tricia Berry, Bill Cramer, Dr. Abel De La Rosa, and Caroline Windham and the reappointment of Frank Hall, Charles Powell, and Joe Tannehill Jr. to the Gulf Coast State College District Board of Trustees.
Tricia Berry
Berry, of Panama City, is the Co-Owner of Panhandle Pediatric Dentistry. She is a current member of the Government Affairs Committee of the Bay County Chamber of Commerce. Berry earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from the University of Florida.
Bill Cramer
Cramer, of Panama City Beach, is the Owner of Bill Cramer Chevrolet Cadillac Buick GMC. He is a current board member of the Florida College System Foundation and Chapter President of the local Air Force Association. Cramer earned his bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of North Carolina and his juris doctor from Harvard University.
Abel De La Rosa, Ph.D
De La Rosa, of Port St. Joe, is the Chairman of the Board of Antios Therapeutics and Senior Scientific and Strategic Advisor to the company. He co-invented ATI-2173, a molecule used in the treatment of Hepatitis B. De La Rosa earned his bachelor’s degree in microbiology from the University of California and his Doctor of Philosophy in microbiology from Miami University.
 
Caroline Windham
Windham, of Panama City, is the Owner and Office Manager of David D. Windham, DMD. She is the current President of the Bay County Genealogical Society and a member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs. Windham attended the University of Florida.
Frank Hall
Hall, of Lynn Haven, is the Northwest Florida President of BancorpSouth Bank. He currently serves on the Value Adjustment Board for Bay County. Hall earned his bachelor’s degree in business management from Florida State University.
Charles Powell
Powell, of Panama City, is a Business Lending Manager with Innovations Federal Credit Union. Powell was previously appointed to the Board of Landscape Architects and is the former Chair of the Bay County Chamber of Commerce and the Bay County Military Affairs Committee. Powell earned his bachelor’s degree in finance and real estate from Florida State University.
Joe Tannehill Jr.
Tannehill, of Panama City, is the President and Chief Executive Officer of MERRICK Industries. He previously served on the Board of Directors and is the former Treasurer of the Northwest Florida Manufacturers Council. Tannehill earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Vanderbilt University, his master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Kentucky, and his master’s degree in business administration from Dartmouth College.
These appointments are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
